ENTRE Computer Center

History

History

Entre Computer was founded in 1983 under the umbrella of 350 other franchises, with a business model that supported both retail and corporate consumers. Entre competed with the likes of the Computerland and MicroAge franchises which all executed similar business models in an exploding Personal Computer market place.

Entre's business model was being challenged in the late 1980's, with the market saturation of franchises and retailers like CompUSA and Best Buy. The Entre Executive Team had the vision that corporate clients and large organizations would have a growing need for a third party support organization to assist with projects, repairs, service, and large installations. In addition, for some mid size businesses, Entre could be offered as an outsourced Information Technology department.

HistoryToday, Entre is proud to be 1 of 11 original locations that migrated to an independently owned and operated business, out of the original 350 franchises throughout North America. Computerland and MicroAge are brands of the past. CompUSA continues to reduce its presence nationally and recently closed over 120 locations.

Technology and Business are ever changing and Entre has a proven history of adapting to market changes, while actively listening and responding to our client's needs and delivering upon them.

This mindset has proved to gain customers of all sizes, from customers with over 5,000 employees, to customers with 200 locations nationwide, to local business that needs a pair of hands or assistance with networking installations and upkeep. Our team wants to listen, understand, and execute in your best interests.

Entre provides sales, consulting and expertise on technology products ranging from a corporate desktop, networking in the datacenter, to full scale deployments and installations, software rollouts, wireless solutions, data migration, and a host of other IT initiatives. We pride ourselves on simplifying these initiatives for our customers while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
